In my last post on black and white (check it out HERE) I said that monochrome prints go with everything. Bold, I know, but you gotta live on the edge when it comes to assertions on colour otherwise… well, nothing. Absolutely nothing will happen. But still.
Black and white prints are a bit of an obsession for me right now and here’s why: Fresh and funky with turquoise and lemon, cool and classic with white, they’re eye-catching without being overpowering. For a boutique look, try bold stripes or lattice-effect wallpaper. Or set off eclectic artwork and retro furniture with a printed rug.
Sticking to good old B&W is an easy way to introduce some pattern and texture to your home (or outfit) without having to worry too much about whether it ‘goes’. Neutral shades are also perfect for anyone who’s nervous about using bold prints.
